Deliberate Contempt – Credits
A traffic police officer finds himself in a sensational scandal. A faulty matatu he let pass through is involved in an accident, killing the governor’s only daughter in the process. The public wants his blood, he wants his badge.
Meanwhile, his wife, a community organizer, finds herself trapped by the actions of her husband. If she defends him, she loses her credibility as someone interested in justice for all, if she does nothing, she becomes a hypocrite who cares about other families except her own.
The governor understands the matatu involved in the crash is one of his own. He cannot pursue the matter without giving himself away, and that is worse than doing nothing.
