To say Nice Githinji doesn’t deserve her place in the galaxy of stars in the entertainment industry would be a complete untruth! Nice began her career as a stage actress, first appearing on the Phoenix Player’s stage in Richard Stockwell’s “Bad Blood”. Following a stellar performance in that show, Nice has evolved into one of the industry’s most active voices and has carved herself a niche as a performer who never leaves her audiences wanting. She has a versatile portfolio which shows her playing roles that range from Mary Magdalene in the acclaimed musical Jesus Christ Superstar and Rizzo in Grease the Musical to Fauzia, a manner less hotel receptionist from Mombasa in KTN's series, Highway Motel. Nice has been active on the Kenyan scene as a professional act0r, producer, emcee, vocalist and TV show host, appearing in television shows, numerous stage productions and feature length films. The list of credits includes Rafiki, Subira, William Shakespeare’s “Merry Wives of Windsor”, Formula X, Changing Times, Makutano Junction, Saints, (Kidnappet) Lost in Africa by Vibeke Muasya and All Girls Together. In 2014, Nice was cast in four Africa Magic original films namely, East, Home and Six, produced by Zamaradi Pictures and Flowers and Bricks a Historia Films production. All the television shows, stage productions and films Nice appears on have aired internationally and have won numerous awards and rave reviews from critics. Nice has also gained vast experience as a producer, under her company FUTURE PICS STUDIOS, producing and starring in the 2007 production of “All Girls Together”, a short film “Consequences” released in 2012 and creating Nganya, a drama series on Iflix. Recently, Nice started "The audition", a workshop tied to her initiative JiNice visafe, where she coaches 18 to 25 year old triple threat (singer, dancer, actor) performers.
