Jeremiah Abuga Osoro, professionally known as Yaro B or Yaro is a Kenyan Hip-hop Artist, Performer. Born in Mathare North, Nairobi and has spent most of his life in Nairobi, Kenya. He was at the age of 13, when he realized he had the talent to rap. He took it as a passion until he joined high school, where he wrote his first song in 2019. His sound is influenced by 90s, 2000s and late 2010s hip-hop and is inspired by artists such as Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, Octopizzo, Kendrick , Joyner...
Yaro, dropped a couple of singles and which led to his debut EP, #ABUGAS (Always Believe U Good At Something). He's also featured in a song by Kasarani Artists "AMANI". His music can be described as catchy, with an on-beat rhythm and also a free tempo. Generally, he is more into rap and Trap and tries to make music that is relatable to the person listening to him in whichever part of the world. Even though he raps in English, he also tries to make music in the local language, Swahili. Cause as much as he is targeting a worldwide audience. He wants to make sure that people who are not fluent in English also get to enjoy his music.
Yaro B been quite busy in the public eye too. He has performed in events across the country. I From performing to the Launch of Xiaomi Redmi Phone Lauch at Ole Sereni, to Shabiki launch in the heart of Nairobi, Kenyan National Archives. He has also performed with heavyweights such as Octopizzo during his Album Launch #Fuego at the Alchemist, to performing at the Alliance Francaise, during the Break Battle challenge, Kenya. Where Octopizzo said and I quote "Yaro B, he is on of the most promising rappers in Kenya".
Yaro B has actually being on a Tour, where he worked with the IEBC, EU and Octopizzo Foundation during the #UMECHUKUA campaign and he performed in Eldoret and Thika sharing stage with Artists like Mercy Masika, Octopizzo, Sylvia Ssaru. He also had an opportunity to peform during Azziad Nasenya's 22nd birthday and not Forgetting his Performance at USIU - Africa, during the Wave 360 Campus Vibes. Aside from that he has also performed at a College Edition of Mr and Mrs Valentine/ICS at the Sarakasi Dome.
Yaro B has also leveraged Spotify Editorial Playlist, New Music Friday.
Some of his 2022 Achievements is are: During a Talent Show at EAICS college, Yaro won the competition in the Rap category. He was also nominated in the People's Choice Kenya Awards for Best Hip Hop Artist of The Year, but didn't manage to win in that. He was also nominated for Hip Hop Artist of the Year, EP of The Year and Artist to watch in the annual Xtreem Awards, Yaro B won EP of the year, which was his debut EP ABUGAS(Always Believe U Good At Something). During the quest for Artists to go and audition at the Nairobi Festival 2022, Yaro B managed to reach top 5 rappers which was dubbed as Semi-Finals. After having as successful year Yaro managed to appear in the list of Top 50 Kenyan Rappers of 2022, a list combined by Chonjo KE.
